The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation is delighted to announce Stephen Peck as the new Deputy Secretary General and Chief Operating Officer.
Stephen is currently a Senior Director for the World Organisation of the Scout Movement, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and comes with a wide range of local, national and international youth work and NGO experience.
Prior to working for World Scouting he worked as a Director for UK Scouting where he was responsible for Youth Programme, supporting adult volunteers and growing the Movement. He has held senior positions in the YMCA and a number of other charities. He also comes with a strong commercial background having managed such operations in previous roles.
Announcing Stephen’s appointment, John May, Secretary General, of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation:

Stephen brings with him a wealth of expertise invaluable to the work of the Foundation and I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to develop and strengthen the Award worldwide.”
Responding to his appointment, Stephen said:

It’s expected that Stephen will start at the Foundation on January 2nd.
