Jonathan Whymark
Psychologist
Jonathan is an Occupational Psychologist in our leadership advisory team and has specialised in senior leadership assessment and development for much of his career. Focusing on a range of clients and sectors, he uses his expertise as a psychologist as well as his experience in public service to provide clear insights into effective leadership. As well as private sector clients, he has worked with a broad range of public sector organisations to deliver bespoke leadership assessment and development solutions. Prior to joining Saxton Bampfylde, Jonathan worked as the Senior Occupational Psychologist in executive search for nearly eight years.
In addition to his public service in the armed forces and the fire service, Jonathan has taken part in a number of charitable activities. For example, he has canoed the Devizes to Westminster Canoe Marathon twice, completed the Three Peaks Challenge twice, hiked the Arctic Circle Trail in Greenland and taken part in humanitarian aid missions to Bosnia during the Balkans conflict.
