WRAP
CEO

For over twenty years, WRAP has delivered programs that reduce CO2 and waste, restore nature, and change people’s behaviour. WRAP is on the side of the doers, bringing together businesses, NGOs and governments to create the systemic change our planet and communities desperately need. The old approach of take-make-dispose is the major cause of inequality, greenhouse gases and the mountains of waste polluting our water and destroying biodiversity. A new approach is needed for food, textiles and manufactured products – which together account for nearly 50% of global greenhouse gas emissions. With offices in the UK, Brussels, Washington and Adelaide, with live projects in over 50 countries, governments, businesses and civil society organisations, rely on WRAP’s research and insights to develop new ways of working, using our expertise to drive change.
WRAP is now looking for a committed and passionate CEO to build on the momentum and success of the recent period, who will stretch our ambition and know how to turn our ambitions into bold plans and systematic programmes, that significantly increase the impact we deliver. A leader who can motivate and mobilise our teams across sectors and across the world to expand our capabilities, all while nurturing our positive, supportive, and inclusive culture.
You will be an established leader with a proven track record of leading and materially scaling the capabilities and income of an organisation in the not for profit, commercial or public sectors. You will have the credibility, experience and network to help grow the international reach and impact of WRAP, with the communication skills to be a powerful advocate for our mission. Candidates will bring significant commercial, business development and people leadership skills along with energy, passion and a deep commitment to WRAP, its mission and its values.
WRAP is committed to diversity and welcomes applicants irrespective of religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, marital status, disability or race.
