Director of School - Games and Creative Technology
The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is the second largest provider of creative education within Europe, with a student population of over 11,000 from all corners of the globe. UCA is now looking to appoint a new Director of School to help shape the future of games and creative technology education. An expert in the field, the new Director of School will be accountable for the strategic growth, development, leadership and management of the School of Games and Creative Technology. Based at our Farnham campus, the newly established School will be home to undergraduate, taught postgraduate and research degree students across a broad range of courses including games art, games development, games animation, games design, virtual and augmented reality, indie and serious games, computer science and game engineering.
As a member of the University Executive Group the successful candidate will occupy a senior academic position, undertaking strategic objectives to support the growth of the University using their industry networks. Good candidates will be able to attract, inspire, nurture and lead academic talent to launch internationally competitive courses. Ultimately through the Director’s leadership, the School will help our students to succeed and become key players in the industry.
