Ukie is the voice of the UK games industry. We have represented the industry for over 30 years, helping to make this country one of the best in the world to make, sell and play games. Everyday we advocate on behalf of the sector, championing the industry in government and with media, and helping industry to build for the future. Representing over 2,000 games businesses who collectively support over 73,000 jobs across the country, with an industry that contributes over £5.1bn to the UK economy, the sector has grown massively over the last decade, and there is an exciting future ahead for industry and for Ukie in continuing to support and represent the sector.
We are now looking for a Chief Executive to lead Ukie, and to maintain a high-profile role for the industry. The Chief Executive will be responsible for our strategic development, and the delivery of our public and industry policy objectives, with the ability to influence opinion formers and policy makers and provide leadership to the organisation and staff to ensure a high-quality service to our members.
Ukie supports a sector which has grown exponentially since we were established over 30 years ago. In looking ahead to the future of the organisation and of the industry we represent, our next Chief Executive will be ambitious about potentially growing Ukie in order to reflect the size and standing of the industry, and to ensure the continuing success of the sector as it evolves.
The successful candidate will bring senior leadership experience, with a track record of successfully operating and influencing at the most senior levels within Government and policy-making circles. With experience developing and delivering strategic plans, and monitoring performance against these, our next Chief Executive will be an effective networker and a persuasive public speaker. With commitment to building inclusive teams and continuing our work to make the industry inclusive, you will be collaborative and able to build positive relationships across the organisation and wider industry.
