The Brendoncare Foundation

Director of People and Culture

Job Reference KBFQC
Closing Date Wednesday 24 Jul 2024

The Brendoncare Foundation is passionate about positive ageing; we aim to create a society that is kind and values age, where older people enjoy life to the full and are valued members of their communities. In support of this, we provide a complete range of connected care and community services to over 1500 older people across the South of England. Brendoncare is at an exciting juncture as we look to build on the success of our services and deliver ambitious plans to expand what we offer.

We have a committed workforce of around 700 colleagues, as well as over 250 volunteers, and we recognise that our colleagues and volunteers are key to our success, and they rightfully sit at the heart of our strategic plans.

We are now looking for a new Director of People and Culture who will play a key role on our Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for creating and delivering a strategy and culture centred around our empowered and engaged colleagues, who are instrumental in delivering our vision and living our values. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to help those we support to live well.

We are looking for strategic leaders of the People agenda, who will play an active role as part of a Senior Leadership Team, and build trusted relationships with our Board, colleagues and volunteers. Candidates will bring experience of developing and implementing People strategies, with a track record of driving cultural change, organisational learning and development through multi-site organisations at pace. We are looking for inspiring, authentic and empathetic leaders, who will role model our values and behaviours and also take the necessary decisions to meet our ambitions and the needs of our own people and our beneficiaries.

Brendoncare is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all our activities, and we welcome and encourage candidates from under-represented groups to consider applying for this opportunity.
