SPGS is now seeking a dynamic fundraiser to serve as its next Director of Development to lead the school’s strategy on identifying and prioritising sources of funds for bursaries and capital projects. The Director of Development will lead, inspire, and motivate a high-performing busy team, bringing relevant and effective innovation to cultivate donors. They will be responsible for the formulation and implementation of the long-term fundraising strategy, securing regular giving, legacies, and funding. The Director of Development will work closely with the campaign councils to identify potential major donors and to ensure effective stewardship events, maintaining relationships and cultivating key prospects on an individual basis.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the credibility to represent SPGS to a variety of stakeholders. They will have a successful track record of major gift solicitation and the proven ability to develop and implement a strong fundraising strategy. The successful candidate will be outward-looking, diplomatic, and capable of inspiring trust, and will demonstrate a clear passion for and understanding of the importance and mission of SPGS.
