With the forthcoming retirement of its Managing Director, there is now the exciting opportunity to join this passionate and highly successful business. Playing a key role in formulating and delivering the strategy and vision for Squire’s continued success as values-driven business, with an established place at the heart of its local communities and the wider UK horticultural industry.
The role offers an interesting, challenging and very varied work life across Squire’s horticultural retailing service, catering offer and nursery operations. It involves growing the business and driving operational excellence, whilst looking for new opportunities and fostering a culture that prioritises customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
Candidates will be collaborative, strategic and practical leaders who will connect with Squire’s mission and ambition to be the best local garden centre. They will bring senior leadership experience from a multi-category retail environment and a track record aligned to developing the product and customer proposition strategies for a business which values integrity and tradition alongside innovating for future commercial success.
