Runnymede College is a leading coeducational British independent school in Spain, offering a British education to children of all nationalities from ages 2 – 18. Located just outside Madrid, Runnymede currently educates just under 1100 pupils. The College’s aim is to provide an academically excellent, all-around liberal humanistic education to prepare its pupils for adulthood and help them thrive as members of an international community.

Runnymede is now seeking an outstanding Head of Nursery School. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an established and successful nursery school and embed this crucial early entry point as a thriving and well-integrated part of the College offering. With ambitions to grow pupil numbers from 120 to 160, the new Head of Nursery will report to and work closely with the College’s new Head of Prep to achieve this.

The new Head of Nursery will be a qualified, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a strong track record running a private nursery in the UK as either Head or Deputy. They will be well organised and able leaders who can bring cohesion and direction to the School, as well as being effective at managing change. They will focus on the happiness of the child, creating an atmosphere of warmth and have superb communications skills enabling them to foster constructive relationships with parents.
