Deputy Head (Pastoral)

We are now looking to appoint a new Deputy Head (Pastoral) who will be responsible to the Head, and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, will be the Head’s key adviser on all matters relating to the pastoral care of students, house staff and the boarding programme. Key strategic responsibilities will include leading on pastoral, behavioural and boarding policies, as well as participation in collective leadership responsibility for the whole school culture and strategic planning. The Deputy Head (Pastoral) will also have operational responsibilities managing staff and aspects of campus and events organisation.
The successful candidate will be a confident, dynamic and collaborative leader with an outstanding track record of pastoral leadership, development and management. Along with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, they will bring substantial experience of working at pace to deliver change and implement robust systems and strategies. They will have the ability to work effectively as part of a senior team, motivating and inspiring others with their vision, energy and enthusiasm.
