Director
The Institute of Regulation (IoR) is a membership organisation. It is a professional network, providing professional development in regulation and promoting good practice in regulation. A third of UK regulators are members, including high-profile organisations such as the Civil Aviation Authority, Ofsted, Information Commissioners Office, National Audit Office and Care Quality Commission.
It offers a wide range of peer support opportunities – from events, professional development and special interest groups, alongside contributing to the national conversation on regulation and regulatory practice. It hosts the UK’s biggest annual conference on regulation and the UK’s only regulation podcast, and are regularly invited to advise government and parliament on regulatory matters.
Established in 2021, the IoR believes good regulation is essential for a thriving economy and society. It aspires to be the UK home of good regulation.
The IoR is seeking a Director to guide them on their exciting, rapid journey to becoming the UK’s largest professional network in regulation, working with a global community of regulatory professionals and experts.
The Director leads the Institute of Regulation and is responsible for its growth and its operations. The Director is accountable to the Institute’s Chair and board, overseeing strong and effective operations and member engagement. The Director is responsible for day-to-day management of outsourcing partnerships, for seconded staff and interns.
