The Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) is the UK’s only chartered professional body dedicated to educating, developing, and regulating actuaries worldwide. Serving over 32,000 members, IFoA plays a crucial role in shaping actuarial education, setting professional standards, and fostering a global actuarial community.

IFoA is seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to join as Head of Markets. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will lead the IFoA’s in-market teams which support our members, manage relationships with key stakeholders such as universities, employers, and local regulators, and drive membership and revenue growth, across multiple international markets. Overseeing a geographically dispersed team of 20 professionals, they will manage key stakeholder relationships, shape IFoA’s membership and corporate partnership strategies, and lead employer engagement initiatives to build strong partnerships that support actuarial career development globally. Reporting to the Director of Membership, this role will be instrumental in delivering IFoA’s strategic vision, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of the profession.

IFoA is looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong track record in membership engagement, business development, or corporate partnerships. The successful candidate will have proven experience leading international teams and managing senior stakeholder relationships. They will bring commercial acumen and strategic thinking to drive growth and innovation, along with a passion for delivering value to professional communities and influencing industry conversations.
