Holy Cross Hospital
Chief Executive
Holy Cross Hospital is a not-for-profit independent hospital founded in 1917 by the Daughters of the Cross of Liege (Daughters), for individuals with neurological and physical disabilities who require complex care.
The Hospital provides a comfortable and homely environment for 42 residents who are highly dependent and require very detailed care plans and treatment. The Holy Cross team provide professional specialist services in a friendly, safe and calm environment. This approach allows the hospital to challenge the limits to recovery for each individual and has earned it a reputation for being a centre of excellence, reinforced by their last CQC rating of ‘Outstanding’.
Holy Cross Hospital also provides outpatient care in a modern integrated physiotherapy centre. The centre has a well-equipped gym and a hydrotherapy pool. The team of physiotherapists and hydrotherapists treat a range of conditions and aim to restore patient mobility and independence.
The hospital is looking to appoint a Chief Executive to continue to develop the organisation ensuring that the vision, values and ethos of the organisation are reflected in daily care and behaviours. The hospital is 100% independently owned and operated, and the Chief Executive has a high degree of autonomy in achieving the mission of the hospital and its owners of delivering excellent care and healthcare outcomes.
