The Foundling Museum, one of the UK’s most impactful cultural institutions, tells the powerful story of the Foundling Hospital, the country’s first children’s charity and public art gallery. Through its exhibitions and programmes, the Museum continues its commitment to supporting children and young people, particularly those with experience in the care system. With a rich heritage and a world-class cultural programme, the Museum remains a vital space for fostering creativity, history, and social awareness. As part of its ongoing development, the Museum is seeking two new Trustees to help shape its future: one with expertise in Fundraising & Development, and another with expertise in Property Management.
The Foundling Museum are looking for passionate and experienced individuals to join the Board, working alongside a committed group of Trustees and Director, Emma Ridgway, to build on the Museum’s existing success. The Fundraising & Development Trustee will play a crucial role in shaping and supporting the Museum’s fundraising strategies, ensuring sustainable financial growth and diversifying income streams. Their expertise will help foster relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, and foundations, to secure the resources necessary for the Museum’s long-term success. The Property Management Trustee, meanwhile, will provide essential oversight of the Museum’s building and infrastructure projects, advising on the maintenance and development of facilities and ensuring all projects are managed efficiently and sustainably.
