Dolphin Living

Non-Executive Committee Members

Job Reference KABAOC
Closing Date Tuesday 03 Dec 2024

Dolphin Living is proud to be a truly distinctive and innovative housing provider; our unique offer is providing homes at below market rent specifically for working Londoners on modest incomes; the teachers, chefs, health workers, creatives and others that make London work. Today our portfolio includes 838, with occupancy at 98%.

It is an exciting time to be part of Dolphin Living, as we scale our work and footprint, continue to modernise and improve our service to customers, and bring forward our current development and regeneration programmes in Ealing, Hackney and Lewisham. Our executive team works closely with our high calibre board, and together we create a truly collaborative and purpose driven culture.

It is against this background that we are looking to appoint two new Non-Executive Committee Members;

  • one person with a finance background to serve on our Audit & Risk Committee, and
  • one person with development expertise to serve on our Acquisition, Finance & Development Committee.

These Committees are both vital parts of our governance structure and each role represents an opportunity to make a real and rich contribution to delivering homes for working Londoners, and a chance to work closely with our brilliant executive colleagues on realising our strategy.

We have a great record of supporting people who may be newer to non-executive work, and we see our Committees as an excellent place to develop people for future board roles.

Dolphin Living is part of Dolphin Square Charitable Foundation, an independent charity that was established with an endowment of more than £120 million in 2005.  We aim to keep building on that endowment, setting new standards in management and design for affordable housing in London.

These are unremunerated roles with a relatively light time commitment (3-4 hours a month on average) and represent a great opportunity to learn and make a real contribution to our important work. The Committees each meet 3-4 times a year in London, and travel and other expenses will be covered.

Saxton Bampfylde Ltd is acting as an employment agency advisor to Dolphin Living on this appointment. For further information about the roles, including details about how to apply, please visit www.saxbam.com/appointments using reference KABAOC. Alternatively email Belinda.beck@saxbam.com. Applications should be received by noon on Tuesday 3 December.
