Concord College is now seeking an outstanding finance and operations professional to lead its newly restructured operations function. The Bursar/Director of Finance & Operations will be responsible for overseeing finance, compliance, estates and facilities, HR, and ICT for the College, supported by a team of Deputy Directors. They will be responsible for the management of the school’s finances to ensure its long term financial success and operational stability, working in partnership with the Principal and Board of Trustees to build a shared vision for future development opportunities for the school.

The successful candidate will have significant leadership experience in a complex professional structure, managing, organising, and motivating multi-disciplinary teams to ensure continued operational excellence. Candidates should have a demonstrable ability to develop strong working relationships with a wide variety of colleagues, with the strategic nous and personal gravitas to command the support and confidence of the Trustees. The successful candidate will have a high level of numeracy with relevant experience in budgeting and financial management, and experience of estates management or capital projects would be advantageous, as would a professional qualification in finance or accounting.
