Brick Court Chambers

Director of Finance and Operations

Closing Date Friday 08 Apr 2022 (Now Expired)

Since its foundation in 1921, Brick Court Chambers has been home to many giants of the bar. Today, it is one of the UK’s preeminent legal sets, specialising in commercial, competition, public, international and EU law. The new Director of Finance & Operations will help to ensure the continued commercial success of Chambers, supporting its members and staff.

At the same time it is a genuine community, recognised externally for its thriving, supportive and inclusive culture.

The Director of Finance & Operations is expected to play a leading role within this community, providing operational leadership across infrastructure, finance, HR, and administrative functions of Chambers. Successful candidates are likely to occupy senior executive roles in an organisation of relevant complexity with a firm grounding in finance and operations and a demonstrable interest in the legal sphere. Candidates not from a legal background will need to bring themselves up to date on issues facing the Bar and the profession.
