Plan International UK
Three Trustees

Plan International is a global children’s charity striving for a fairer world. One where every child can reach their full potential and every girl can choose her own future.
A key member of the Plan International global network, Plan International UK is a registered charity with an annual income of £75 million. Operating in over 80 countries, we are committed to creating a future where every child is safe, educated, and empowered. Our mission is to ensure that all girls are free from violence, in control of their bodies, aware of their rights, and able to make their voices heard. In the past year alone, the Plan International family has reached 43 million children through 1,400 active projects.
With a diversified funding base and minimal reliance on direct US or UK government funding, Plan International is well-positioned to remain resilient in an evolving global aid landscape.
We are looking to strengthen the Plan International UK Board with three new Trustees, each bringing valuable expertise. We are particularly interested in individuals with strategic financial management experience within a charity of similar or greater scale and complexity, significant leadership in multi-channel fundraising, and senior programmatic leadership experience within complex, federated INGOs, along with a deep understanding of the global challenges facing international organisations. While each Trustee will offer specialist knowledge, all must share a deep commitment to our mission, strong strategic insight, and an understanding of the governance responsibilities of a UK-based charity within a global context.
If you believe your expertise aligns with our needs, we would be delighted to hear from you.
