Since their launch in 1992, the Apollo Awards have celebrated exceptional achievements in the art and museum worlds, commending remarkable work by individuals and institutions in both historical and contemporary fields.
The winners of the 2022 Apollo Awards were announced during a ceremony at the ICA in London on 6th December, and Saxton Bampfylde was proud to sponsor this year’s Personality of the Year award.
The award went to Cecilia Alemani, the curator of the 59th Venice Art Biennale, and the first Italian woman to have been awarded this honour in the Biennale’s 127-year history. Read the full announcement of Cecilia’s award here.
