Bromley Healthcare

Non-Executive Director

Job Reference AAHAME
Closing Date Wednesday 02 Nov 2022 (Now Expired)

Bromley Healthcare provides out-of-hospital and community health and care services across South East London. We provide care that spans our residents’ entire lifetime, supporting people to start well, live well and age well.

Established in 2011 as a social enterprise, we have the advantages of the NHS with the freedom for innovation – able to reinvest any surplus that we make to upgrade our services for patients. We provide a range of community services across Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham, and our reach continues to grow. Our unique approach – empowering frontline staff to make decisions about how services should be run – has contributed to our success, making us patient-focussed and efficient.

Bromley Healthcare is now looking to appoint a non-executive director to join the board and to become Committee Chair for the Strategy, Investment and Development Committee. As a member of the Board, you will oversee the overall direction and performance of the organisation. As Committee Chair, you will play a central role in the design and implementation of our growth strategy.

You will bring senior-level experience gained in a commercially-driven environment, and have experience of working with a Board and achievement in organisations of similar scale and complexity. You will have excellent chairing skills, with the ability to think strategically and contribute to strategic development.

We are looking for candidates who will be able to demonstrate alignment with our values: Belonging, Health and Wellbeing, Continuous Learning and Innovation, and Compassion. As an organisation that supports communities across South East London, it will be highly desirable for candidates to bring a personal connection to the areas served by Bromley Healthcare.

Bromley Healthcare is an inclusive organisation, and we would like to bring Non-Executive Directors onto our board who bring diversity of perspectives to the organisation. We actively welcome applications from individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
