Established in 1893 the school is set in leafy, tranquil grounds close to the heart of Putney and to the River Thames, the school is the largest member of the GDST, the UK’s leading network of independent girls’ schools.

The School now seeks to appoint an outstanding Director of Finance & Operations to support its continuing development. The role will report into the Head and support her in the effective deployment of services and resources to aid the achievement of the School’s educational aims. He/she will oversee financial management and accounting, business development, human resources, estates management, health and safety management, administration, catering and housekeeping and security.
The successful candidate will be financially qualified with proven managerial capabilities, excellent communication skills, deep empathy with the values and ethos of the School, and personal presence to represent the School externally. As importantly, they will be confident leading operational tasks and have proven experience of effective strategic and financial management in an organisation of relevant complexity.
