The Museum is renowned for its founder’s collection of fine and decorative arts and it has an exceptional track record in delivering exhibitions popular with local, national and international audiences.
This is an exciting time in the Museum’s history as the Board of Trustees seek an exceptional candidate to drive an ambitious strategy that builds on world class collections, sustains a commitment to all that makes the Museum extraordinary whilst exploring new ways to fulfil the Museum’s mission.
If you are a visionary, action orientated leader with experience of the arts or related sector this is an ideal opportunity. You will be an inspiring people manager and compelling advocate for The Bowes Museum. The role will suit someone with entrepreneurial flair and a passion for the impact the arts can have on local communities.
Salary £75,000-£85,000
